Community Engagement

At the core of Enhancing Community Safety to Address Youth Violence is creating a service network of community-based organizations that have experience in operating violence prevention and early intervention programs with youth and families. For site leads, having access to this larger network will help ensure tailored supports for its students and families. Building this network will require identifying who/where/what organizations exist in the community and learning what roles they can play to support the goals of this grant. This webinar will walk through community asset mapping so organizations in urban, rural, and tribal communities can spark collaboration and fully utilize the assets that exist in your community.
