Paul Taylor, co-founder and director of the VA League for Safer Streets (Richmond VA), joined us to talk about his experience building and growing the League, including the expansion to community violence intervention work. Topics discussed included the formation of the league with his co-founder, the late Juwad Abdu, while both men were still in confinement, establishing partnerships to sustain the organization, including partnering with Richmond PD, providing re-entry opportunities, and overseeing the growth of the organization.
