The Prevention Learning Portal (PLP) is a free eLearning platform built to support working professionals across all sectors in Pennsylvania. It is designed to strengthen prevention practices and bring together evidence-based knowledge, practical tools, and accessible professional development in one place, supporting professionals as they move from learning to real-world application.

This session will introduce participants to the Prevention Learning Portal and provide a guided walkthrough of its key features, demonstrating how the Portal can be used to support ongoing learning, informed decision-making, and high-quality prevention efforts in daily practice.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the purpose and value of the Prevention Learning Portal for prevention workforce development
  • Navigate key components of the Portal, including eLearning courses and the eLibrary
  • Identify learning opportunities and resources aligned with their professional roles and prevention goals
  • Apply Portal resources to a real prevention challenge or workforce development need
